Managing Director

Matt is a Board Director of Brunel Insurance Brokers. He joined the group in December 2017 to create the corporate division. He is responsible for leading the team and the wider strategy, and maintaining key client and insurer relationships.

Chris Ladkin ACII

Group Chairman

Chris is a key part of the management team, having been a board director of various other insurance brokers over the last 30 years. He is responsible for advising the board and looking after key clients.

Gary Cox

Chairman

Gary has more than 40 years' experience within the insurance industry and works closely with the senior management team on a consultancy basis. He continues to support some of our key South West clients alongside our team.

Siobhan Moore

Director - Group Finance

Siobhan heads up our Accounts Team and is responsible for all functions of our accounting department, from collecting and paying Insurer money to the management of accounts.

Sally Cutler

Director - Operations

With an extensive background of more than three decades in insurance and financial services, Sally operates from our Bristol headquarters. In this role, she assumes responsibility for supervising the Group's Operations, Marketing, HR, and IT, as well as effectively managing the broader Operations & Marketing Team. Additionally, Sally serves as the Executive PA to both the CEO and the Managing Director.

Mark Baggelaar

With 30 years’ broking experience Mark is based in our Bristol office and is our senior commercial insurance advisor to both new and existing clients.

Dave heads up our Newton Abbot and Weston offices, while also looking after many key clients in Newton Abbot and the surrounding areas. With 35 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Dave ensures his clients receive service and advice beyond their expectations.

Ben Davis

Director - Marine

With 35 years’ experience in the insurance industry, Ben is responsible for heading up the marine side of the business, looking after our various marine trade commercial clients. Based in our Bristol office, his other areas of expertise include property owner’s insurance and general commercial including hospitality risks.

David has over 25 years’ industry experience. He is responsible for providing exceptional advice and service to corporate companies. David’s technical knowledge and experience of businesses both in the UK and internationally delivers confidence to our larger corporate clients.

Steve has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Steve joined Brunel Insurance Brokers to manage provider relationships, advance our broking strategy and develop exclusive products. His focus is on delivering value to our clients.

Based in our Coventry office Roy manages corporate client relationships in the Midlands. With 50 years' worth of experience, Roy is a key member of the senior management team, supporting the growth of the business.

Ben brings 20 years' insurance experience to his role, where he looks after a large client base of new and existing business while also handling renewals, mid-term adjustments and claims smoothly and efficiently.

Duncan has worked in a claims environment within the insurance industry for 35 years handling a variety of types of claim for a broad cross-section of businesses both in the UK and internationally.

Laura heads up the corporate servicing team across the south west, while also supporting corporate client relationships for our London and Bristol client base. Her focus is ensuring the needs of clients are being met daily, through exceptional service.

Angie Fairbairn

Angie has over 20 years' experience in broking, including 7 years in insurance underwriting. She heads up the renewals team in our Stockton office and supports a large client base ranging from SMEs to corporate clients.

Approaching two decades of experience in financial services, Rich has held a variety of roles, including running his own financial planning firm. As our Group Business Development Manager, his main focus is driving the business forward, representing the Group as a cohesive entity. Away from the office you'll find him on the golf course or in the mountains.
