Brunel Insurance Brokers is pleased to announce the acquisition of the renewal rights to John Walker Insurance Ltd (JWI), an independent broker based in South Molton, North Devon.
Founded in 1980, John Walker Insurance has built a loyal client base of approximately 1,700 clients, providing both commercial and personal lines insurance. The business is managed by David Walker, whose father originally founded the company, and his partner, Jane Rampling. The values of JWI, focused on providing community-oriented, independent insurance services, are a perfect match for Brunel, making this acquisition a natural and seamless fit.
This strategic acquisition expands Brunel’s footprint and strengthens its resence in Devon. With the addition of the South Molton office, Brunel now operates eight locations across the UK. As part of the acquisition, Brunel is excited to welcome David Walker and Jane Rampling into the team, alongside two additional staff members, Amanda and Milly, and looks forward to supporting their professional development.
